At Origami Extraction, we create solventless cannabis concentrates for authorized retailers in the medical and recreational markets. But what are they, really? Cannabis concentrates are extracts that contain a high concentration of cannabinoids (such as THC or CBD) and terpenes, which are the aromatic compounds responsible for the flavours and aromas of cannabis.
There are different types of concentrates, each with different properties and uses. Here, we focus solely on solventless extracts, hash, rosin and vaping cartridges, which we take the time to shape by hand. Like origami, the art of paper folding, our solventless processes require meticulousness, finesse and delicacy—qualities our team definitely has.

A history of concentrated excellence
Origami Extraction was founded out of a desire to offer the best cannabis experience to discerning consumers, both in medical and recreational markets. We’re based in the heart of the Beauce region of Quebec, our founder’s adopted home, which he loves for its people and wide-open spaces.
Origami Extraction’s adventure began in 2020, when we obtained our micro-processor license. Over the years, our process engineer teamed up with a veteran technical advisor and cannabis sommelier, and a quality assurance manager, among others.
In addition to the exceptional quality of our solventless cannabis concentrates, what you’ll find with us is the “micro” aspect we cherish so much. You will appreciate the artisanal production, many hours of research and development, people-focused mindset, and friendly family atmosphere that surrounds micro-processing.
Our raw material comes from carefully selected partners across Canada, all of whom are licensed cannabis producers.

Que savez-vous des terpènes botaniques? 🤔
🌱Les terpènes sont en fait des composés des plantes qui donnent, entre autres, les odeurs et les saveurs aux différents cannabis. Ils sont produits naturellement par la plante de cannabis et on les retrouve majoritairement sur les fleurs. Ces composés sont recherchés des connaisseurs.
À titre d’exemples, le caryophyllène confère un goût de poivre, le limonène comporte des notes d’agrumes tandis que le linalol possède un arôme floral rappelant la menthe et la lavande.
Ce qu’il faut savoir, c’est que dans certains produits de cannabis, comme les préroulés infusés ou les cartouches de vapotage avec solvant, des terpènes botaniques (ne provenant toutefois pas de la plante de cannabis) sont parfois ajoutés pour créer des saveurs artificielles. Il vous est toujours possible de vérifier dans la liste des ingrédients se trouvant sur l’étiquette pour savoir à quel type de produit vous avez affaire. 👀

What do you know about botanical terpenes? 🤔
🌱Terpenes are compounds that give each cannabis strain its own unique flavour and aroma. They’re produced naturally by the cannabis plant, and are mainly found on its flowers. These compounds are highly sought after by connoisseurs.
Examples include caryophyllene, which tastes of pepper; limonene, which features citrus notes; and linalool, which has a floral aroma reminiscent of mint and lavender.
What you need to know is that, in certain cannabis products, like infused pre-rolls and vape cartridges with solvents, botanical terpenes (not from the cannabis plant) are sometimes added to create artificial flavours. You can check the ingredient list on the label to find out what kind of product you’re really dealing with. 👀
